depends on what you want to use it for many kinds from small wattage to 10,000 watts portable and they get bigger check out home depot I have one its a 50,000 watt 3 phase 240 volt and weights 8,500 pounds on a trailer

Any diesel genny that has a kuboda engine. You will be happy with how quiet and smooth an 1800 RPM unit is. A 3600 RPM unit will be real noisy.
Honda and Yamaha.I have the Honda eu2000i runs very quiet...about 16 amps...runs about 8 hrs. on one tank of gas!! Has feature where you can attach another eu2000i later if you need more power in the future and feature to charge batteries directly with 12v cable.
