A glue sustainable up to 230 degrees!?

Question:is there a glue that wont melt up to 230 degrees, my streightners are broken

Answers:
The best thing to do would be to go to a hardware store and check out a few different glues. Normal wood glue will probably not stand up to the heat but some others might.

You might be best served by trying an epoxy. Epoxys are two chemicals that when they mix, they harden and many are VERY heat resistant. They are very easy to use and quite effective.

I have applied 100% silicon adhesive/caulk on a sink stopper and decided I wanted to take it apart. I pried, pushed, and finally baked it a 500 degrees for a half hour, it was unfazed.
