best thing to clean the screen are dryer sheets, yes, the sheets you throw in the dryer to make clothes smell fresh.
DO NOT EVER use any type of cleaning product on the screen.
As for scratches...not much you can do, far as I know.

There is a product called ProtectAll that can be used on vinyl. It is the only product I know of that can be used on vinyl, plexiglass, rubber, plastic,fiberglass,auto paint, etc.I get mine at WM.
YOU MIGHT TRY USING THE SAME LIQUID PRODUCT THEY ADVERTISE ON TV TO REMOVE SCRATCHES FROM EYE GLASSES, WHICH ARE ALSO MADE OF PLASTIC.I HAVE NEVER HAD TO EVEN TRY THIS BUT I CAN THINK OF NOTHING ELSE THAT WOULD WORK EXCEPT POLISHING DOWN THE SCREEN WITH A FINE ROUGE AND A BUFFER. PERSONALLY I WOULD TAKE MY CHANCES WITH MY FIRST OPTION.
