I live in Manhattan near the explosion-How do I make sure my AC is on recirculate and not drawing outside air?

Question:It just has a knob that I can either pull or push? Which way should it be?

Look inside the grill of the A/C if possible,As you push or pull the knob you should see and hear a door moving..if you see daylight it will be the opposite setting.

Does it not say on the ac unit? We cant see your unit nor are we able to asses the make or model looking at our monitors. Not enough info to even make a guess. Best thing is to turn it off and hide under your bed. I would have moved out of that city 6 years ago.
