Help! i spilled nail polish remover on my glasses, and now the frames (plastic) are all white.?
Question:i guess the acetone ate through the plastic and hence the whiteness, but even if i scrape off the white parts, it either comes back or it remains discolored and now it's all scratched up from my trying to scrape off the whiteness. is there any way to smooth out the plastic?

No way you can correct that. Make an appointment for new frames.
Try nail polish remover, it works on furniture and carpet, maybe it will work for you.
Hummm thats a pickle, maybe try calling your eyedoctor, they might have some helpful hint. It may be time for new glasses though. GL
