wd 40 sucks, buy some teflon spray

could be haunted.
Use chalk, it works better.
WD40 is not good for very long you see it will evaporate in no time, Try 3 in 1 oil and I bet it will stop, hope this helps
WD 40 sucks!! Buy some Howes lubricant. Works 10 times better and lasts longer.
WD-40 dissipates quickly. If you need to oil something use a thicker viscosity oil like sewing machine oil. It will last longer and make what you are oiling last longer
its not an oil it disperses water ie wd-40
WD-40 ie. Water Displace- formula 40. It is not a lubricant. It works much better as a lubricant remover. That is why your chair still squeaks, but i'll bet the hinge doesn't have water in it now! lol
WD40 isn't a very good lubricant (as you've found out).

I use spray-graphite or teflon spray.
