I have a Campbell Hausfeld power washer that I can not get to work, the plug never resets, not sure the prob?

Question:It has kicked on a couple times, but it will not stay running. I found a bare wire going to the little transformer, replaced that, thinking it was shorting, still nothing? Not sure if its the plug or the motor?

I had a similar problem. If you're comfortable doing minor electrical cut off the GFCI plug and replace with a regular 3 prong plug, then when you use the washer plug into a GFCI outlet. Those built in the cord ones don't hold up too well.
