I have a question for Bosch appliance...how?

Question:Just purchased a $1000. Bosch washing maching...why would Bosch make the third prong of a 3-prong plug in at the top?
When plugged in it makes the cord go up and around...This is ridiculous!

Answers:
There is no standard for either the outlet or the plug. The fix is easy, just shut off power to the outlet and remove the cover. Loosen the screws at the top and the bottom, turn the outlet over twisting the wires, make sure the hot screws, the dark ones, don't tough the bare ground wire, and put back together.

Turn off the circuit breaker to it, and remove the cover, then remove the 2 screws holding the outlet in the box. Turn over the outlet. Replace the screws. Reinstall the outlet cover. Plug in the washer. Turn the circuit breaker back on. Problem solved..
