How much is a double wide?

Question:How much do you think a (used) double wide trailer would cost..if you were to own it..not rent it but own it..and it was used..but in nice condition?

Answers:
I have seen them start from about $500. ~

that depends on if it has a tornado magnet inside
A new one will cost you US$40K, Check at your local mobile home retailer, when they sell a mobile home, most often they are stuck with the old(used) one they replaced. Don't settle for anything less than half of a new ones price including the transport and install.
Depends on how bad who has it wants to get rid of it. A friend of mine got as used one that still looked new for $1500.00. With all appliances, and some furniture.
Caution. If you find one that is cheap, there may be a reason. then: talk to the neighbors of that home:

Find out if they knew of any problems with that home (fire trucks there last year. water pouring out of doors 2 years ago and carpenter, electrician vans there for a week, etc...) Checking with those around that home may be able to inform you if that court has a lot of police calls & problems.
And, you are finding out a little about possible neighbors.
Too much for it's value. Buy a house instead of a trailer. It's the largest single investment you can make. Houses on wheels go DOWN in value.
