Electrician needed?

Question:got a treadmill today it worked for about 10 minutes the went off now when i put it on it stays on for 7 minutes then goes off and says E1 on the display. anyone know whats wrong and can i fix it

Answers:
I see you have a computer to work with.
If you don't have the instruction manual and you sound like you don't, go to the manufacturers web site and use the model number and the serial number to ask for a download of the manual where you can print one or you can use the "Contact us" link and if the unit isn't too old, they will tell you what the error message means and how to deal with it.
Good luck ! ! !

Read the manual. E1 is probably an error message that you can look up.
you will probably find that you can set it to run for a certain time, read the instructions---E1 is probably a programme setting
have you a instruction pamphlet it should give you a list of fault finding problems then go from there
Don't you have a book with it? Is there a makers help line? Could just be overheating if you leave it fot ten minutes or so does it start again? There isn't any form of timer on the machine is there that needs adjusting. Again read the book if there is one.
look at your owners manual under troubleshooting E1 is an error message
