Simply multiply the length x width x depth x 7.5 and you will have your answer. There are 7.5 gallons in a cubic foot.
There is no standard size so there is not one answer. A normal 60 inch tub will hold less than 40 gallons of water but if there is a person in there, less. I have a jetted tub for two that will hold mabe 100 gallons though too.
It depends on the size of a bathtub. An average 5ft bathtub can hold 60 gallons of water before it begins to over flow.
We recently replace our old 1962 cast iron tub with a American Standard 5 foot, 32 inch whirlpool.
It's great and holds 70 gallons.
A regular cast iron tub---- 5 foot long, 14 inches high, and 28 inches wide holds about 50 gallons.
I suggest you just do find out for yourself by filling your tub up with a 5 gallon bucket and see what it comes to.
