Why does my doorbell ring when someone comes to my neighbors house?
Question:Every time someone visits my neighbor and rings his doorbell, my doorbell sounds. I bought my house less than a year ago and it has happened ever since I've been in it. I'm very uncomfortable around this guy so I don't want to go to his door and tell him about it. I never know if someone is at my house or his. Any answers here would be helpful before I have to go and knock on his door. He is really creapy.

you both have a radio signal type bell (wireless) that is on same frequency so you need to change frequency or replace, the same thing can happen with garage door openers , try driving around the area pushing the button on yours it will eventually open somebody elses
You both have wireless doorbells on the same frequency. Try seeing if you can switch channels.
If you both have the same brand woreless doorbell chime systems you could be on the same frequency (especially if your homes are newer and made by the same people). You can simply take your doorbell down and reset the frequency. Instructions on how to do this can be found online depending on your manfacturer.
This may sound like a dumb question but is you doorbell hard wired into your house or wireless?

Are you talking about two separate houses?? I'm wondering if it has something to do with wiring. You might want to have that checked out.

maybee you could window dress somemore i think that would help make your neibor more comfortable but your not creepy with mindless conformity or your killing of the ground water i think it would be funny to go to the door and there is no one there how would you know that your neibors doorbell rings when someone else is there do you go into your neibors house how are they creepy if you have been inside why does the person have to be a he why cant it be a she do you find them creapy cause there so much like you i think it would be funny for guests whom stop bye im just kidding listen to the other peoples suggestions
wireless yes must change freq but if its other someone got there wires crossed have it checked out
