How to replace an old window in a old house.?

Question:I live in this house that was built sometime in the 60's. I recently just broke a window which happends to be a sliding window. Anyone have any advice where to get this window or what kind:? I will be greatful for the responses. Thanks

Answers:
You can take the window payne to any glazing company and they will fix it for you, yellow pages should have several listings

if there is an ACO hardware store near you, they can replace glass, at a very economical price, next to nothing.

if you want to replace the entire window...essentially you remove the trim on the inside and outside.then with a sabre saw, cut throw the nails holding the window in, pop the window out,...then you get a new one to fit the rough opening...you shim it up square, nail it in, put insulation between the window and framing, then put up new mouldings, and caulk them, and thats that.
