Is there a way to unscrew a showerhead that is so stuck on I can't budge it?

Question:I am using a pliers/wrench to try to get the damn thing off and it won't budge. Any tricks you know of?? Thank you!

Answers:
get a big bucket ,of really hot water , immerses the shower head ,in the bucket , it will expand ,and unscrew it .

if you run the cold water only for 5mins, it will chill the head,
when hot water is applyed it will expands,

get some wd40 and spray on the threading and let it set for a few minutes.
Get 2 pair of channel locks and place oposite of each other. 1 pr. to hold the pipe it is screwed onto, the other to turn left to loosen.
Lefty loosey. righty tighty. You might have to bang on it for a couple of taps to get it to break free, but it will come off.
Get a plastic bag, fill it with Coca Cola, leave the shower head in the bag, try unscrewing next day.I loose rusty screws with this trick.Might work on your showerhead.Good Luck!
use a product called lime-away
try some liquid wrench or wd 40
Completely immerse the shower head in a plastic bag containing 1 cup or more of vinegar, leave on overnight. It should work. Good luck.
Well, while I dont quit agree with the previous answers...I will say I have heard the vinegar trick works to unclog the pores in your shower head..My best suggestion would be to unscrew the shower arm from the wall..it should have a threaded drop eared 90 inside the wall that should be braced so unscrewing the shower arm should be a cinch although you will probably need pliers! Get a new shower arm and new shower head and there ya go!!

The first answer about the hot water had me rolling!! That'll never work!
