AC won't turn on?
Question:AC worked until I opened the door to clean the filter. Now nothing comes on.

either the door switch is bad or you didnt get the door closed properly ..either way it is a simple fix for you ...just remerber to turn power off unit before attempting any repairs...
Make sure the door is shut properly. Some systems have an interlock that prevents the unit from powering on if the door is open.
There may be an interlock on the door or filter, make sure it is closed and the filter seated properly. Might just take some time for the system to reset.
Check to see if you put the filter back in correctly... Did you close the door all the way?
If those are ok - try unplugging it and checking your breakers ... plug it back in and turn it on.
If nothing still ... call a service tech
is it plugged in>?? sounds like a fuse if thats not the prob... check your fuse box..
Fix the door. It isnt sitting correctly to close the little door switch. Keep at it.
If there was no problems before you removed the door, but now the unit wont power on, its definately a door switch.
(unless you accidently pulled a wire loose)
