Purchased 1.5 or 2" soundproof foam tape (which was taped around my door) and want to cleanly remove it?

Question:Hi, my roomates were incredibly loud so I purchased three 2" soundproof self-adhesive foam tape from Home Depot and taped it between the cracks of my doors. It's been 1 year and I need to remove the foam tape but some small pieces of the foam tape is still stuck between the cracks of my doors. It's going to take a long time scraping them off with my fingernail, so do you know of any product or of any method to remove the extra pieces of the tape from my door?

Answers:
Heat it up with a heat gun or a hair dryer to warm the adhesive then pull it off.
When all the loose stuff is gone, its probably going be sticky.
Get this stuff called "GOO-GONE." Wet part of a wash cloth thoroughly and work it back and forth into the glue. It will magically disappear.
I love this stuff. And it doesn't even smell bad like harsher chemicals.
