Does anyone know how to remove and replace the pivot lock shoe in an aluminum window?

Question:I have a broken pivot shoe and need to replace it,but can't figure out how to get it out of the window frame. It is a white cam type shoe for a double-hung tilt-in window.TIA

I have worked on a myriad of different windows. No one is going to be able to accurately tell you with this description. Most aluminum windows I have worked on are very difficult to even find the manufacturers name, in fact, I cannot think of a single one.

I suggest calling a glass company to have a service man check it out. The different types of hardware used over the years are endless.
