I have one of those desks with leather inlaid top.?

Question:Can anyone tell me how to keep the leather in tip top condition. Many thanks.

Answers:
Buy a good quality leather conditioner.
Wipe marks off with a damp cloth.

You can clean it gently with some saddle soap, then use a leather conditioner, the same stuff you would use for leather seats in a car.
Go and buy some Nivea cream - the original cheaper one in a big blue pot (Boots or Tescos - only about £2.50). Rub this in and then buff off. Nivea is really good for nourising leather.
Great answer from Retox. I would never have thought of using Nivea cream. Thanks for that, I will use it on my leather chairs.
Please please do not use Nivea cream on your furniture or leathers it will completely ruin it. Unfortuantely manufacturers do not know very much about care and repair of leather furniture or handbags and will say anything they think. Nivea will as I say completely ruin leather and make fixing it impossible.

Neatsfoot oil will also do it no good whatsoever.

Neets Foot Oil is specifically designed to condition leather. A custom-cut glass top placed over the leather will protect it nicely.
