I bought a new exterior door from Lowe's about a year ago and we installed it today and the door is warped.
Question:I put up the new exterior door from Lowe's and it is warped. It says that it is lifetime guaranteed. Is Lowe's responsible for replacing it for me at no charge.

My guess would be that this has more to do with the way the
door was stored over the last year than anything else. Wood will warp if not kept in an environment with a constant, relatively low humidity level. Residential steel and fiberglass doors usually have wood stiles and rails, so they can warp as well.
There may be some corrective actions you can take depending upon the type of door and direction of the warp.
Lowe's certainly is not responsible, as the warranty would be from the manufacturer. Manufacturer's warranties generally require that the door be properly finished after purchase, so you probably do not have any recourse there, either.
If you let it sit outside the weather has warped it. Doors need to be stored in a dry place to prevent this. Humid areas will make it warp also. Try getting your money back and see what they say.
Talk to the store manager. However, if you're just now installing it, it's been a year- could have warped during storage.
After a year in storage? there going to ask questions. They don't insure doors to put in storage improperly.
You can try but, don't expect anything. A door like this will make a great tool bench in the basement but, that's about all. Go buy a new one, this time, put it in or store it properly.
