What could be the problem?
Answers:
From what you describe the condenser unit is not running. It may be as simple as a tripped breaker or the compressor may be caput.
First check your circuit breakers for the condenser unit.
When the outside temperature drops at night it is hard on an A/C unit. You get real low head pressure and can freeze the evaporator coil. If your system has a low pressure cut out it will have tripped. You can look over the condenser unit for a cut out switch.
Otherwise you need to call an HVAC tech to troubleshoot.
do you have central A/C ? if you do call an a/c guy you might be out of freon (coolant) or your compressor might be broken, good luck and stay cool
