Septic Tank- What cleaning products can I use to clean my tub, sink , toilet that won't affect my septic tank

Question:I've heard that you can't use bleach because it kills the organisms that are in there to help breakdown the gunk? What do you suggest?

Answers:
Peroxide, Bar man's Keeper. Safe and natural cleaning products.

By reading the labels, you should be able to discern which are safe for your septic system. However, an occasional use of bleach shouldn't harm it, just limit the use.
Baking soda works great
The key is not to use caustic chemicals in excess. Small amounts will not hurt the system but don't over-do it. It's the same with grease/oil. You cannot stop some from going down the drains but you shouldn't pour it down the sink. For unclogging drains, I like Draincare by Zep. It is an enzyme cleaner that works and is safe for septic systems.
