Can the copper fittings on water lines be exchangeable with Central Air copper lines?

Question:I'm trying to make a curve in my flexable copper line to my house but it would be to great and it would kink my line. Some one told me I could use fittings to go around corners but I wonder if I could get the fittings that go to copper water line. It would be faster and cheaper if I could. If not where would I get some?
thanks

Answers:
ac fittings are measured by outside diameter and plbg fittings are measured by inside diameter. plumbing pipe is sold in hard or soft pipe or rolls from icemaker size 1/4 od thru 2"

Go to your local hardware store and ask them about "soft copper and it`s fittings."
freon copper and water copper is 2 diff peeps
sized different
the id of the water is the od of the copper
or was that the other way round ? lol
no
The fittings are not the problem; silver soldering A/C lines is one of the skills which a HVAC technician is tested on and licensed to do, as it is more critical than water lines. If you have the license to silver solder, you know the answer to this question already.

HVAC lines are OD.
