A/c problems..?

Question:doesn't anybody know that if you keep your a/c properly maintianed that yearly costs would be down. Nobdy has thier a/c serviced untill it goes out in the hottest days of the year,

Answers:
When you have your a/c serviced regularly then the less chance your unit will break down. TALK TO YOUR LOCAL A/C GUYS AND GET A SEASONAL CHECK ON YOUR UNIT if you do not want to spend alot of money on repairs.

Basically the maitenance on any A/C unit is to check things that are wearing out, there are almost no parts in the sytem to regularly replace or maintain other than the Air filter. If a coil gets externally blocked or a replacable part breaks, the user will quickly know it and pay someone like me big bucks to come fix it. The furnace is a different story, it can kill you if it is malfunctioning.
I personally would rather know that my compressor is drawing high amps and is nearing time for replacement but most people don't seem to want to know these things.
everything breaks down when it's working the hardest.
The number one cause of system failure is dirt! A dirty coil can reduce your electric efficiency by as much as 30%. A system that has been running for more than one year without a tune-up is equivalent to a car driving 30,000 miles without a tune-up.

My service company guarantees that if my electric bill does not reflect energy savings equivalent to the cost of the tune-up then the tune-up is free.

There are a lot of companies out there offering maintenance and all they do is a VISUAL check.

Make sure that the company you choose actually CLEANS your system. A clean system will save you money AND last longer. Guaranteed!
