It could have tripped the breaker. Find replace all bulbs and then go to your breaker box. Look for any single pole (meaning it is only either an inch or 1/2 in thick depening on the brand and has one switch to turn on and off) and for a 15 or 20 amp breaker. It should be 15 but depending on your location the codes could be different, and then see if any are off. If so, flip it to on. If this is the case, this should fix it. However, if the breaker trips again, it could either be the cause of an overloaded circuit, or a broken breaker. Breakers, depending on the brand are inexpensive, ranging from a little over $3.00 to $14.97 (Home Depot prices). Make sure your bulbs are not over the recommended wattage.
Blue spark, happens a lot. That means there's power.
Too many computers. Eat one.
both bulbs went due to the power surge.
check your breaker box. sometimes when a bulb goes out it will trip the breaker.
check the circuit panel for a tripped breaker... (they often have an orange color visible if tripped, or will be in the center position). Turn the breaker all the way off...then try turning it back on. if it immediately trips again, then youve got an electrical short that needs to be taken care of.
maby the electral wireing is fudged up
might have tripped the breaker or blown a fuse check that out if you have a breaker reset it if its a fuse the screw in kind look tho the clear window and see if its blown
If you removed and replaced the bulb, you can go to the panel and see if one (15 amp) breaker is tripped. If you have one with the red flag, it's easy.
In any case most of the other brands don't have this red flag.
A tripped breaker has to be reset by turning it all the way off to reset it then it will turn back on. If it jumps back off when you reset it then you have a short circuit which should be fixed by a "Licensed Electrician" as there could be a fire risk.
Good Luck ! ! !
