Help! We have a hole in our pool!?
Question:We have a hole in the top ring of our pool. (It is one of those with the blow up ring around the top) We tried a patch kit from walmart, but now the hole is back and the pool has water in it. What do we do? My husband tried tape and glue, and that didn't work either. Any suggestions without draining the pool?

Okay, I've got a few ideas that just might work. one idea is accept the fact that unless you drain it a little bit you will not be able to fix the hole due to the fact you will need a dry area to patch it! Next idea is to make sure that there is always someones finger over it ( no less then 24hrs a day)! Last idea, let the water drain into your yard and you wont have to water it for awhile and this will free up some time for you, so that you can go buy another blow-up pool..good luck!
for the patch adhesive to work the surface needs to b completely dry. so if its kinda low down on the ring, u may need to drain some water out of it.
try a bike tube repair kit and follow the directions
You might try Henry's Wet Patch Roofing Cement. I used it on leaks in my roof while it was raining and it worked great. Most hardware stores carry it, and it's available in tube for your caulking gun, which , if you don't already have one, you can get one for a couple of bucks. I'd also try to find wide vinyl tape to cover the cement, ascetic purposes. Good Luck.
Go to a pool supply store, they sell a patching kit that even works under water on vinyl pools I assume you have a vinyl pool. I used such a kit years ago and it worked. Good luck!!
duct tape the whole on both sides and it will be fine if ppl dont mess with it
