Good lord yes. If your in a area that gets hot, then that will be a good selling point.
yes it does.
also put in pool and u have a house u wont want to sell.
Generally, yes. I live in the Washington, DC area. When I bought my house, which is over 50 years old, it didn't have central air. I put central air in the following year. Property values in my area have skyrocketed in the past few years, but my property has appreciated even more because of the addition of air conditioning. BTW, it is over 100 degrees today.
yes it does that is what most people look at when they by a home is what type of furnace and if it is Central air.. if you are thinking about it i would
yes , it adds value to your home, any improvement that you can add , will make your home look better to buyers.
Yes, but usually not much.
A/C might at a few thousand dollars to the value of the home, but it costs a few thousand dollars. Of course, it all depends on the buyer, too.
The life of an A/C system is about 10 years max, and it's really only efficient the first year. A new A/C system will add to the value of the home, but it won't add more value than the cost of the system, usually. Again, it all depends on the buyer.
Buyers figure they can always add A/C. So...if a house didn't have it, they can put in a brand new one for a few thousand and then have no worries about it.
Generally..don't add A/C to a home you're attempting to sell. Usually you won't recover your investment.
It definitely can, in a warm weather area.
