Question:I had some one look at it and he said that was normal i have never notice it before and i've used a dish washer all my life, can someone tell me if that's normal, seems kind of nasty to me.

Answers:
Not normal, check it out with a specialist!!!!

A tiny bit right after it finishes is normal, especially if you don't use the heat dry setting. However, if it's dirty water that is in the bottom, trust me, in a day or two, you won't want to open the door because of the smell. I had this happen right before my timer went out on it. It would not drain the water from the bottom at the end of the cycle. Nasty, nasty, nasty. I could rotate the timer to make it think it was about to start another washing, and it would drain what was left. Then, after it would drain the water, I would manually rotate the timer back to the off position so that it wouldn't continue with a new wash cycle.
Use the heated rinse, heated dry setting.
The water only stays in there on the normal setting.
You should check to see if the dishwasher drain hose is in the proper place under the sink. Most dishwashers drain through the disposer. The drain hose should go up above the spigot of the disposer and then back down to the spigot. This creates a vacuum break so the water from the disposer won't leak into the dishwasher. If you have a separate trap for the dishwasher the same might apply. Your drain hose should go above and back down to the drain.
