Why won't my bathtub doesn't drain properly?
Question:I've had a plummer out twice. The pipes are not clogged. The plummer said that maybe the slop of the pipes is not great enough. What can I do to not be standing in a pool every morning?

I recently had the same problem, and after pouring liquid plumber and then acid down the drain, I climbed on the roof and found the problem. Birds had made a nest in the pipe that comes out the roof. This pipe allows ventilation, which helps the drain process. If your roof is safely accessible, climb on up and check all of them (you can pour liquid plumber down these pipes to clear them out).
cause the drain it probably clogged. Get some drain-o or something like that.. it really works.
Not sure, I had the same problem until I bought some liquid draino or liquid plummer. I poured the whole bottle in the tub and let it all go down then didnt touch it for like 4-6 hours then I ran the shower to rinse it and all the water started going down... I don't know if it's a permanant solution but it works
to avoid using chemicals unscrew the drain cover and using a stiff thin wire (i used a coat hanger wire), form a hook on the end and put it down your drain and try to pull up any hair that could be clogging the drain. i recently did this in my bathroom sink and was AMAZED at what came up!
The plumber would probably know best... But try Liquid Plumber Foaming Pipe Snake - it's the best DIY fix I've found. Another thing that happened with mine (and I felt like an idiot afterwards) - if there is a hair catching screen over the drain, try taking it off and seeing if that helps. Because of the way the holes were positioned in mine, it stopped the water from going down quickly.
