I live on the top floor in a house made into apartments. How can I increase water pressure in the shower?
Question:I heard there was something I could get that would screw onto the shower head that should increase the pressure but no one knew what it was called. Any ideas?
Answers:
most modern shower heads have a restricter(water saver) it the base. take off the shower head and remove any inserts where it meets the pipe. leave the screen.hope that helps.
its called a shower head...it has variable size holes which spray the water thru smaller holes making it faster,,,,,however in your circs install a power shower ,,thats an electric pump
i don't know
Oftentimes, you can twist the shower head itself to increase the pressure. I've lived on the top floor, twice, and remedied it by buying a showerhead than can also be handheld. $29.95 at Bed Bath & Beyond. Really easy to put on there!
I suggest you use a pressurized water tank. It has an electric motor that puts the water in the tank so that is has a 40 psi pressure in it. This will store your water needs for the day and give you the water pressure you want.
