Anyone know how to care for Russian Pine?
Question:My kitchen table is made out of Russian Pine. It's very pourous & has lost it's luster. Any suggestions as to how to get it's luster back? I've used Murphy's already, didn't do much. Oh ya & that Pledge all in one cleaner too...nothing.
Answers:
I know that pledge puts a wax on it (it doesn't treat the wood and may have to be removed). All I know is that after wood is stained and dried then a plastic coating could be put on it (or maybe varnish), but why not ask at your nearest Home Depot?
Wow thats a good question, I am not sure but I would think the same way as any pine...but to be 100% sure I would say to go to the place that you bought it and ask, or even go to a dealer that sells it and ask. or go to http://www.russianpine.com/ and click the contact info and call them and ask...
good luck
Sounds as if you have cleaned the table. You can buy Restor-aFinish in the color you need. Follow directions on the can. Then apply a good paste wax. You should be able to find these products in an Antique store or possibly in an Unfinished store.
get some Dr. Woodwell's miricle cleaner . it is the best
Use Liquid Gold.
