How long does the dead rat smell take to go away?
Question:I just cut a hole in the sheetrock and there it was.the stink that's been smellin up the house.a little dead mouse.
We trashed it...but the smell remains. What's the best method to get rid of the smell?

White vinegar works, or moth balls. Bleach also works too.
Try pouring baking soda on the spot where the little mouse was found and around the area. It might help to absorb the smell. It works in the fridge, why not with this situation?

ventilation and febrize in 2 days is gone...if not than that was a stinky *** rat!use blitch in a small portion with water use gloves and desinfect the places where the odor is coming from..
