What sizw boards are used for facisa?
Question:I'm having my house color coated and am replacing the facia boards. What size am I supposed to use? and should Iuse flat or semi gloss paint for the trim?

generally fascia boards are 1x6 or 2x6,but measure the existing to make sure.you can use flat,semi,gloss,it doesnt matter as long as it is exterior paint.
It's true that 2x6 or 1x6 are most common. but any size may be used, I would replace with the same size you take off. I think flat paint looks best on exterior.
Measure that existing boards so that they match.
I wouldn't use flat on wood. Try using an eggshell (satin) finish. Not as shiny as semi gloss, but holds up better than flat.
