Whats the difference between hot and cold tar? for my driveway?

Question:

Answers:
Cold tar is just granuals of granite that are coated in tar. They are held together by tampering. It is a temporary solution and they will break up. It'll go soft in a hot summer.

hot tar is where the granuales are mixed with molten tar and laid hot then rolled. They are much closer together and all the tar bonds as one piece - very strong and lasts for years.

Hot tar is much easier to work with and will set harder when cold!
Cold tar is solid, it can't be spread.
