How to unclog air conditioner??
Question:I get this problem every summer... the air conditioner unit is clogged.. I normally have my nephew come over and run the water hose outside through the drain and catch the clog inside the house under the unit with a pan... HOWEVER.. he is out of town.. I would like to know if it can be done from INSIDE the house the same way but with the waterhose forcing the clog outside?
I really need help on this the reason why is silly but I will tell you...I am afraid to go outside in the back yard where the a/c unit is.. there was a snake in the backyard and it was right in the same area as the a/c unit.
Can someone help me with unclogging this from inside the house?

you sound like you live in Florida with those snakes. My husband pours bleach down a tub e in the unit in the garage. Ask one of your neighbors and perhaps this will help

get a shop vac and clean out the drain pan. you will need to pull the drain hose loose from the pan on the inside unit and either suck the crap out of the line and the pan out blow it out by reverseing the hose on the shop vac. I would try the suction first,less mess.
