what kind of riding mower you got most have a clutch/brake combo have to look mite be a rod to adjust them up

Front right hand side of gearbox. With engine off, Gear Shift Lever in "NEUTRAL" and Parking Brake in "UNLOCK" position, loosen outside jam nut, and tighten inside nut until a .018 Feeler Gauge can be inserted between the Brake Disk and Brake Puck , the puck is same as a pad. Feeler Gauge should be snug but moveable by hand. Use a wrench to hold the inside nut while retightening the outside jam nut. NOTE: BRAKE ARM SHOULD HAVE 1/16" To 1/8" CLEARANCE WITH SPACER. The Spacer is right behind the Brake arm. With engine off, place tractor in 1st gear and depress the Clutch/Brake Pedel untill the tractor can be pushed. When brake is adjusted right, tractor should stop with in 6 feet.
