Red Wings, steel toed, they are great and the company stands behind them, you can take them in and get them oiled or cleaned and they even replace the laces, I've had mine for 2years and they still look great.

Here's a story you'll like.
In 1986 a worker with steel toed boots was working the cable line carrying hot molten steel.
The cable line broke and he was left tangling 30 ft from a guard fencing.
The workers below hollered at him to let go and fall because the pot of steel was rolling towards him on the broken cable.
When the pot hit the end it tipped over pouring it on his hands and he let go and fell and the rest of the steel poured on top of him.
He was literally cooked to death and when it was over. The only thing sticking out of the mount of steel hardened was his steel toed boots.
This is a true story, but the moral was that the steel toe survived, but the leather boot and human body was burned beyond recognition.
