How much does it normally cost to hire someone to move a hot tub?
Question:The spa in question is 8'x8'. There would be very little travel in between the two locations (about 5 miles).

You will have to consider the gas it cost them to travel to ur home and than the 5 miles. Than consider just the fact that they had to come to your home so there should be a charge for just coming. Also does the plumbing have to be undone and than redone. I personally have never payed anyone to move a hottub. I bought a new one and the store delivered it and hooked it up for free!! Well the pipes and electric was already installed. I would move it myself before I payed more than 100 bucks!!
depending on size and access to your backyard, it may need to be done with a crane, i've never owned a hottub but I have seen cranes used to install them on a few occasions.
