Which is better to use on a NASTY bathroom?

Question:CLR or Limeaway? It has gross brown stains and stuff in it.

Answers:
Personally, I would use The Works. It's really good stuff. And what I love about it, is you spray and it like, melts the crap right off. NO scrubbing! Very bad smell though! Turn on your fan or open a window if the bathroom is really bad.

Might want to dig the top surface of grout out and regrout, seal with a penetrating sealer after and it will stay nice.
The stains are probably from minerals in the water. Iron and magnesium water stains turn a reddish brown color.

I think the CLR would work better if it has enough bleach in the solution. Never mix two cleaners together because the chemicals can form a poisonous gas.
I use brillos it seems to clear off all the gunk in my bathroom
have you considered gutting the area and beginning anew.

CLR and limeaway is good for a starter if the area has at least been cleaned on a continual basis. How did you get those brown stains and stuff? That is a starter--sounds like stuff is growing there that is not good.
If you're talking about the porcelain then try an abrasive bathroom block called Pure Clean. It's amazing and available at Walmart.
I would use bleach to clean the majority and the bleach pens for my grout. works great, its cheaper then CLR and limeaway.
