My Fan rotates clockwise?

Question:Suddenly, my Ceiling fan started rotating clockwise ( looking up ). What could be wrong? The capacitor is OK.

Answers:
Most ceiling fans have a switch that can make them rotate the other way. (One was is good for summer, the other for winter.) You probably moved the switch accidentally.

Most have a reversing switch for summer and winter, maybe this has been flicked over ?
There should be a switch directly under the blades on the fan motor that can allow you to switch directions. Your fan must have gotten switched without you knowing. When trying to bring warmer air down, the blades should be turning clockwise. To lift warmer air up and away the blades should be turning counter-clockwise.
Someone must have hit the switch on it that makes it turn the otherway to pull air up and circulate it through the house.
The magnetic poles of the earth have flipped!
North is now South!
Your toilet will now be flushing in the opposite direction!

or it could be what they said about the switch.
