Why bother?
Question:I have taken the time to share over 30years of experience and knowledge over the last few months and its ; for the most part , a waste of time. more and more , I see a young ( read uninformed) readership only interested in giving the nod to young unknowlegeable people. So be it! Why bother to inform the unwilling. Have your way. " those un-aware and un-willing to know the past are desined to re-live it" Live on your own mistake's ( I am sure you will;won't be back )

Grounded, You and I (and many others) are from a different era. I was taught to share the knowledge that was shared with me. Locksmiths that I have worked with wouldn't, and I forced to learn my trade on my own. I have been willing to share this knowledge, to help them gain a little themselves. But, sometimes the answer has to be "call a professional". I don't know who ticked you off, but remember we were all young punks at one time, and we all said stupid things. If you still want to go and not answer their questions any more, I understand. I enjoyed reading you insightful answers though.
the older you get, the more you notice how dumb people are. so what? it's your grace in growing old with that knowledge that will fortell your success into your later years..
It's something to take up time, no one is forcing you to do it.

A lot of people don't formulate a decent question so maybe what you answer isn't really what they are asking.

Listen, don't get discouraged. Maybe those to whom you wrote your answers don't get it, but someone else may have. Don't forget, this site is open to all, and many read who do not participate. I appreciate your taking the time to try to help others. And I read and learn from lots of different entries.
I hear you " grounded " I've worked in a lot of trades including the swimming pool industry for over 40 years,I just started answering questions this month. I just feel maybe I could help some one out,helping one person might be worth it. I know where your coming from I read the responses some are "out there". I'm going to keep going for now.
