How to reseal and repair a fiberglass spa?

Question:I received a fiberglass hottub spa that has some minor cracks in it and one larger crack in one of the seats. The motor, pumps and filters all work great and it still looks really good. Can someone recommend a good patch and sealer plus any other things that you can recommend that I do to make my first hottub awesome? Thanks!

Have any friends that work in marinas? The smaller cracks can most likely be filled easily. The larger one will need glass work. And then youll need to seal the new glass.
A very effective two part epoxy used for pools is called Pool Paste by EpoxyBond. It is designed to repair cracks in fiberglass and plastic. Any inground pool supply place will have.

If you desire to use a caulk then, believe it or not, ACE hardware's High Tech Sealant (0870AC) was tested (1-2 years) as one of the best sealants by a highly regarded boating magazine. It actually outperformed many specialty, expensive Marine specific caulks.
You can go to a home improvement store and get a boat fibergalss repair kit. It will have all that you need and works great. Very simple to use as well.
