I need help on buying carpet?
Question:What quality carpet can I expect to get for $18.50 a square yard? What brand would you recommend? Help! I am also trying to buy remnants so that I can get more for my money. Does anyone know of a good place to buy carpet?

For your $18.50 s y, are you including pad and installation? If so, the carpet part is about $10.00. This is a little above base grade, unless you get lucky and find a closeout at a local carpet store. Try your local Abbey Carpet store. They are having a one year as cash program now. You can buy better and not pay for a year.
