I would take the phone apart and use a q-tip to try and help dry the small parts. I'm not sure if u can get the front part apart or not but its worth a try cause otherwise u won't be able to see the main screen. my phone is a samsung phone too. Do u have insurance on ur phone?? Let the phone dry out for several days and if u can get to the screen to dry it out u may just be able to save ur phone, also try to blow in it to help dry it..good luck

You can try to take a blow dryer to it on low setting and see if that helps. Remove the battery and do the same.

There really isn't much you can do, and returning it, most companies will not replace unless you have a extended warranty with it (water damage protection).
Batteries have a strip on it and when it turns a certain color, only which the technician knows, it let's them know that it has water damage.

Mine actually fell into a bucket of water, and I let it sit for a day or two and removed the battery and it came back to life.
Been there, done that.
