What type of cement do I use to repair the coping on my inground pool?

Question:The cement coping has slightly lifted from the bond beam and as a result a chunk of the beam has erode away. I am addressing the expansion joint issue to prevent further damage. At this popint I'd like to repair the gap between the bottom of the coping and beam.

Since the gap is too large for a epoxy type putty I'd like to utilize a cement of some type. Which is ideal for this application? Hydraulic cement? Premixed or mix myself? Should I use a bonding agent?

Any advice on mix formula, technique or products is appreciated.

Answers:
use Portland cement

Hydraulic cement is your best bet, it hardens fast so do not mix to much at one time. This stuff is made for wet conditions, I have used it on submerges sea walls. Be sure to wet the surface before applying and it will stay put.
