Ever heard of this security system?
Question:I am looking at getting a home security system. While researching companies and prices I found that Protect America's home security system seemed to have the best deals. However, I have never heard of them. Does anybody use this system or know anything about the Company?

All the same eh... Well yes I would agree on a technological level many alarm panels function in the same manner. However the big difference is the quality of the installation as well as the installation and service standards. Paying too little in the beginning may result in paying much more in the end as a result of false alarm fines and costly turfing of cheap equipment.
As an insider in the industry with nothing to gain by business in the US, I suggest you ask around locally. Don't rely purely on the internet as you may not find the small companies which provide the best service. Personally I have never heard of protect but that does not mean they are bad... On the other side of the coin I don't know if they are any good.

get a doggy. any alarm system can be outwitted. I had a friend paid $900+ monthlies for 3 years, Hurricane Ivan destroyed it all, we rebuilt it, less the alarm system.
I install security systems and Ive never heard of them but...
as far as a home alarms go they all work the same :)
so i would go with the least $$$
ps there more for a peace of mind.
