Exactly where on lawnmower blades are you suppose to sharpen?

Question:

Answers:
The last two inches of the blade on different edges . You can see or feel where it was sharpened before.
I might add the blade must balance after sharping.

On the last two to three inches. The term "sharpen" is not really true. If you look at a brand new blade, there is not a "sharp" edge. It is just not as dull as the main part of the blade. You should be able to see where the sharpening ends on the blade. There is a definate angle there.
The formally sharp part. If you can no longer tell where this is you might consider just getting a new blade. They aren't that expensive.
On the leading edge of the blade take a file and sharpen but don't over do it as it will dull the blade faster
