One Shower is not putting out hot water!?
Question:In my master bathroom the shower is not getting hot. The odd thing is that every sink in the house works just fine, i get hot water, as well the shower in the 2nd bathroom works fine. I don't think its the Hot Water Heater, but I don't know. Can anyone help before I call a plumber and waste my money.

MMMMMM. I'm not into maintenance but I would suggest just calling and asking around at different pluming places... Could try Home Depot or something for free advice... Also it sounds like maybe your hot water just may not be coming on, the knob could be stripped and your turning but not actually turning on all the way. Good Luck! :-)
It could be the mixing valve in the wall for that faucet. Basically, the mixing valve mixes the hot and cold water coming into the fixture. It's pretty easy to replace.
When you turn the hot water on in the shower -does cold water come out-or nothing? Is there a separate valve for each hot and cold water , or do you have one mix valve for both? Has something been repaired or replaced before the problem??
If you have a mix valve (one knob for both hot and cold), then it could be broken.
If you have a separate valve for the hot, but only cold comes out-then it may be hooked up to the cold water. If nothing comes out-its not connected, or there is a valve closed somewhere-maybe in the wall.

Well, without knowing the specifics of your shower, I can share with you a very similar experience I recently had with my shower doing the EXACT same thing.
We found that the hot water to the tub adjacent to the walk-in shower was left on, but we had a hose attached to it for washing the dogs, etc. When we turned on the hot water for the shower all we had was lightly luke warm water until we turned off the hot water tap to the adjacent tub. Once that was done, no more problems.
