Why is my Frigidaire freezer leaking?

Question:I have a Frigidaire FRS6B5EEW2 side by side that leaks water through the ice maker when I get drinking water. I replaced the ice machine but that was not the problem. It makes ice great. I just don't understand why water would flow into the ice machine when I try to get water. Also, I notice that water leaks down the front of the door and forms a puddle. Help Please...

Answers:
you have to servicing you freezer. The ice maker control faulty. you can with the service man.

It may be your ice maker if you have one. My parents had that problem and they had to disconnect that part of the freezer.
You have a bad seal inside your water value. When you use the water it is letting air inside you system which is causing the leak. You will have to change all the seals inside the water value.
I suspect you have an OK ice maker if you look where the water connects to the frig, it is connected to a valve that opens to let water flow into the ice maker, this valve may even have two or three of these valves, depending on the system. one valve for the water dispenser, one for the ice maker, etc. This valve can be replaced. If you have DIY capability you can do this yourself. You have the model # now contact the dealer where you bought the frig. or a parts store and obtain a new valve.
