Can you help me find a synchronous motor?

Question:Some of the information that was readable:

5 RPM 4W
This is used in a Bionaire Air Purifier BAP825.
It is used for oscillating the housing for direction of air flow.
It is slipping and making noise, so I think a gear inside has broken teeth

You might ask at a Bionaire authorized service center. Although you voided your air cleaner's two year warranty when you opened the unit (the warranty may have run out anyway), the service center may be willing to sell you the part. More than likely it is a special part with a special mounting pattern. If you are lucky, it might just happen to be like one of these sold by McMaster-Carr:
