Question:The rubber ring around my coffee cup lid fell off and is too big to fit back on. Where can I find a replacement and what is the technical term for this piece of rubber called?

The rubber may shrink back to size when it cools down, place it on the cup then put it in the freezer.

It is called an O ring. I would take the suggestion of the previous poster and cool it off.
